Nanobubbles: A Novel Targeted Drug Delivery System
Nanobubbles are nanometer size bubbles having different constituents of varying physicochemical characteristic for the inner core and outer shell. Nanobubbles are mainly fabricated to improve the stability, bioavailability and improve the biodistribution

Formation, dissolution and properties of surface nanobubbles [PDF]
Surface nanobubbles are stable gaseous phases in liquids that form on solid substrates. While their existence has been confirmed, there are many open questions related to their formation and dissolution processes along with their structures and ...

Refractive Index of Single Surface Nanobubbles
Here, we report a label-free optical relative refractive index (RI) sensing technique based on the image contrast of surface plasmon resonance microscopy (SPRM).

Thermal Oscillations of Nanobubbles
Nanobubble cavitation is advancing technologies in enhanced wastewater treatment, cancer therapy and diagnosis, and microfluidic cleaning. Current macroscale models predict that nanobubble oscillations should be isothermal, yet recent studies suggest that they are adiabatic with an associated increase in natural frequency, which becomes challenging ...

Surface Nanobubbles Nucleate Microdroplets [PDF]
When a hydrophobic solid is in contact with water, surface nanobubbles often form at the interface. They have a lifetime many orders of magnitude longer than expected. Here, we show that they even withstand a temperature increase to temperatures close to the boiling point of bulk water; i.e., they do not nucleate larger bubbles ("superstability").

Influence of bulk nanobubble concentration on the intensity of sonoluminescence
The present study mainly examined the effects of the volumetric concentration of nanobubbles (ultrafine bubbles) on the intensity of sonoluminescence (SL).

Plasmonic Nanobubbles as Transient Vapor Nanobubbles Generated around Plasmonic Nanoparticles [PDF]
We have used short laser pulses to generate transient vapor nanobubbles around plasmonic nanoparticles. The photothermal, mechanical, and optical properties of such bubbles were found to be different from those of plasmonic nanoparticle and vapor bubbles, as well.
