Template‐Assisted 3D‐PVDF Nanonetworks for Passive Daytime Radiative Cooling

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 13, 13 July 2026.
Three‐dimensional polyvinylidene fluoride (3D‐PVDF) nanostructures were fabricated by infiltrating the polymer into 3D anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) templates. Due to their high solar reflectance (82.4%) and infrared emissivity (96.7% between 8 and 13 µm), they are an ideal candidate for radiative cooling.

Gold Nanoparticles Supported on Poly(Phenylene Oxide) as Selective and Versatile Catalyst for Hydroamination of Arylacetylenes with Anilines

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 19, 2 July 2026.
Gold nanoparticles supported on poly(2,6‐dimethyl‐1,4‐phenylene oxide) (AuNPs‐PPO) demonstrates efficient and selective hydroamination, with performance tuned by reaction conditions and substrate design. Electron‐withdrawing substituents enhance conversion while preserving E‐imine selectivity, highlighting a key role of intermediate acidity.

Designing Stable Periodic Magnetization Textures by Tailoring Anisotropies and Applying Geometrical Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 53, 2 July 2026.
This work explores the possibility to design stable periodic magnetization textures by transforming a 2D film into a rolled‐up 3D architecture and back. In case of an isotropic exchange‐biased layer architecture, the magnetization encoded in the 3D state evolves into a spin‐spiral pattern with controlled periodicity after unrolling.

Contra‐Diffusion Engineering of Single‐Atom Catalytic Interlayers Enables Reversible Sulfur Redox Chemistry

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 24, 8 June 2026.
A contra‐diffusion strategy is introduced to grow uniformly distributed Co–Nx single‐atom catalysts (CoSAs) within a carbonized aramid nanofiber (CANF) interlayer. The resulting CD‐CANF enables efficient polysulfide regulation, low metal loading, and exceptional long‐term cycling stability in lithium–sulfur batteries. ABSTRACT Achieving durable lithium–

PtRu Clusters Enable Efficient Proton Transfer and Rapid Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesCarbon Neutralization, Volume 5, Issue 4, July 2026.
PtRu clusters on hollow mesoporous carbon spheres exhibit superior HER activity via strong electronic coupling. Ru sites enrich hydronium ions, creating a microenvironment for rapid H* directional transfer. Ru acts as the dominant center with near‐neutral binding energy, while Pt modulates the electronic structure for optimal kinetics.
