Direct Observation of Matrix‐to‐Precipitate Elemental Diffusion in Severe Plastic Deformation
ABSTRACT Elemental redistribution, particularly the solute exchange between the matrix and precipitates, is a central issue in alloys subjected to severe plastic deformation (SPD). To elucidate this behavior, a nickel–aluminum bronze (NAB) alloy was processed by high‐pressure torsion (HPT), and its microstructural evolution was systematically ...

ABSTRACT The inherent trade‐off between high saturation induction (Bs) and low core loss in soft magnetic materials presents a challenge in the development of high‐frequency power electronics. Here, a processing approach that combines accelerated Cu ordering with dual magnetic anisotropy control in high‐Bs Fe‐based nanostructured cores is examined ...

Magnetocaloric effect in Mn-containing Hitperm-type alloys. [PDF]
The magnetocaloric effect of Fe60−xMnxCo18Nb6B16 x=0,2,4 is studied. Mn addition decreases the Curie temperature of the alloys but also reduces the peak entropy change and the refrigerant capacity of the material.

Cd2SnO4 exhibits excellent thermoelectric properties with a high Seebeck coefficient, power factor, and figure of merit, surpassing Bi2Te3. It shows both positive and negative Seebeck coefficient values, making it suitable for diverse applications. Its high electrical conductivity and low thermal conductivity enhance efficiency, while its negative Hall
