Tunable Lloyd-Mirror Interferometer for Large-Area Nanopatterning [PDF]
This paper reports on a new Lloyd-mirror interference lithography system whose mirror angle is variable with respect to the substrate. We demonstrate that this tunable Lloyd-mirror interferometer significantly increases the nanopatterning area with ...

Predictive Registry Optimization of Molecular Adsorbates on Solid Surfaces
Local C–H “spikes” from a π‐conjugated backbone lock into graphene “pockets”. A geometric registry score turns images obtained by scanning tunneling microscopy at the solid/liquid interface into atomic‐scale adsorption models, enabling assignment of surface atropisomers in large π‐conjugated molecules.

Creation of Curved Nanostructures Using Soft-Materials-Derived Lithography
In this study, curved nanostructures, which are difficult to obtain, were created on an Si substrate through the bonding, swelling, and breaking processes of the polymer and silicone substrate.

Non-spherical particles for optical trap assisted nanopatterning Non-spherical particles for optical trap assisted nanopatterning [PDF]
Optical trap assisted nanopatterning is a laser direct-write technique that uses an optically trapped microsphere as a near-field objective. The type of feature that one can create with this technique depends on several factors, one of which is the shape

An applied noise model for scintillation-based CCD detectors in transmission electron microscopy
Measurements in general are limited in accuracy by the presence of noise. This also holds true for highly sophisticated scintillation-based CCD cameras, as they are used in medical applications, astronomy or transmission electron microscopy.
