Ultrafast Laser Direct-Writing of Self-Organized Microstructures in Ge-Sb-S Chalcogenide Glass
The structuring of mid-IR materials, such as chalcogenide glass (ChG), at the micro and nano scales, is of high interest for the fabrication of photonic devices in general, and for spectroscopy applications in particular.

Control of Ultrafast Laser Nanostructuring of Glasses using Temporal and Spatial Pulse Design
International audienceLaser transformation of optical glasses depends on the rate of energy feedthrough, affecting the resulting function. We discuss the role of spatio-temporal design of laser pulses in 3D nanostructuring either via self-arrangements or

Nanostructuring and stabilization of metastable rock-salt ZnO: Impact of high-pressure media and compression geometry [PDF]
For complete and reproducible recovery of a high-pressure polymorph of zinc oxide, rock-salt ZnO (rs-ZnO), nanostructured wurtzite ZnO (w-ZnO) is typically used as a precursor for high-pressure synthesis.

Nanostructures for peroxidases [PDF]
Peroxidases are enzymes catalyzing redox reactions that cleave peroxides. Their active redox centers have heme, cysteine thiols, selenium, manganese, and other chemical moieties. Peroxidases and their mimetic systems have several technological and biomedical applications such as environment protection, energy production, bioremediation, sensors and ...
