Computing Cournot-Nash Equilibria [PDF]
This paper examines convergence criteria of an algorithm for the computation of Cournot-Nash economic equilibria. The method is based on formulating the equilibrium problem as that of finding a solution to a nonlinear complementarity problem, solved by sequential linearization and Lemke's algorithm.

Stochastic Equilibria under Imprecise Deviations in Terminal-Reward Concurrent Games [PDF]
We study the existence of mixed-strategy equilibria in concurrent games played on graphs. While existence is guaranteed with safety objectives for each player, Nash equilibria need not exist when players are given arbitrary terminal-reward objectives ...

: Nash equilibrium is an important concept for studying human behavior in group decision making process. Given the complexity of finding Nash equilibria, computational tools are necessary to find them.

Hepatic APOF transcript levels correlate inversely with plasma TG and hepatic steatosis in humans. ApoF expression in mice promotes VLDL‐TG production and lipoprotein remnant clearance in mice. Abstract Background NAFLD affects nearly 25% of the global population. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the most common cause of death among patients with NAFLD,

A RELATION BETWEEN NASH EQUILIBRIA AND CORRELATED EQUILIBRIA [PDF]
In this paper we investigate the set of correlated equilibria of bimatrix games. These equilibria are interesting, because they can result in outcome profiles that are not feasible as a result of Nash equilibria. After giving an example to illustrate the various concepts, we present a Projection Theorem which relates the two types of equilibria.

The role of SMLR1 in lipid metabolism (high fat + cholesterol diet in mice) Abstract Background and Aims The assembly and secretion of VLDL from the liver, a pathway that affects hepatic and plasma lipids, remains incompletely understood. We set out to identify players in the VLDL biogenesis pathway by identifying genes that are co‐expressed with the ...

Background. Multiple Nash equilibria bring a new problem of selecting amongst them but this problem is solved by refining the equilibria. However, none of the existing refinements can guarantee a single refined Nash equilibrium.

Nash equilibria in the context of convex sets
Nash equilibria (α, β), α > O, β > O, are investigated in bimatrix (3 x 3) game. Necessary and sufficient conditions for existing of such Nash equilibria are obtained (in theorems 4 and 8), and the algorithms for calculating them too.

Nash equilibrium is often heralded as a guiding principle for rational decision-making in strategic interactions. However, it is well-known that Nash equilibrium sometimes fails as a reliable predictor of outcomes, with two of the most notable issues being the fact that it is not resilient to collusion and that there may be multiple Nash equilibria in ...

Partial Cooperative Equilibria: Existence and Characterization
We study the solution concepts of partial cooperative Cournot-Nash equilibria and partial cooperative Stackelberg equilibria. The partial cooperative Cournot-Nash equilibrium is axiomatically characterized by using notions of rationality, consistency and
