ABSTRACT This paper examines the relationship between industrial robotics adoption and ecological capacity, measured by biocapacity, using panel data from 50 countries over the period 2000–2024. We investigate the transmission mechanisms, non‐linearities, spatial spillovers, and heterogeneity characterizing this relationship.

On the Reaction Mechanism of Nitrate Radical and DMPO in Non‐aqueous Photocatalytic Media
This work identifies 2‐oxo‐5,5‐dimethyl‐1‐pyrroline 1‐oxyl (DMPOX), formed via the selective oxidation of 5,5‐dimethyl‐1‐pyrroline N‐oxide (DMPO) by nitrate radicals (NO3•) in nonaqueous media, as a distinctive EPR fingerprint of NO3•. The DFT‐supported mechanism clarifies its formation pathway and highlights DMPOX detection as a robust tool for ...

Counting Derangements and Nash Equilibria [PDF]
The maximal number of totally mixed Nash equilibria in games of several players equals the number of block derangements, as proved by McKelvey and McLennan. On the other hand, counting the derangements is a well studied problem. The numbers are identified as linearization coefficients for Laguerre polynomials.

Low‐Carbon Optimal Scheduling of Multiple Virtual Power Plants Based on Asymmetric Nash Bargaining
ABSTRACT To effectively investigate the structural discrepancies and complementary energy characteristics among multiple virtual power plants (VPPs), and to improve the economic efficiency, low‐carbon performance, and operational reliability of the multi‐agent system, this paper proposes a low‐carbon collaborative optimal operation strategy for ...

Pharmaceutical Pricing and R&D as a Global Public Good
ABSTRACT This paper examines the international variation in the prices of branded pharmaceuticals. We consider short‐run profits, or quasi‐rents, as representing each country's contribution toward the global public good of therapeutic information embodied in new pharmaceuticals.

Nash equilibria for coupling of CO2 allowances and electricity markets*
In this note, we analyze Nash equilibria between electricity producers selling their production on an electricity market and buying CO2 emission allowances on an auction carbon market.

Nash Equilibria in Large Games [PDF]
This paper adds to the discussion, in a general setting, that given a Nash-Schmeidler (nonanonymous) game it is not always possible to define a Mas-Colell (anonymous) game. In the two games, the players have different strategic behaviours and the formulations of the two problems are different. Also, we offer a novel explanation for the lack of a Nash
