Enzymatic activity in hepatopancreas of Nassarius obsoletus

Comparative Biochemistry and Physiology Part B: Comparative Biochemistry, 1973
Abstract 1. 1. Comparatively high levels of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase were found in the hepatopancreas of Nassarius obsoletus. The absence of demonstrable levels of the second oxidative shunt enzyme suggests that only a partial shunt operates in the hepatopancreas for the generation of NADPH necessary for the synthesis of lipids. 2. 2.
