Natural process – Natural selection [PDF]

open access: yesBiophysical Chemistry, 2007
Life is supported by a myriad of chemical reactions. To describe the overall process we have formulated entropy for an open system undergoing chemical reactions. The entropy formula allows us to recognize various ways for the system to move towards more probable states. These correspond to the basic processes of life i.e. proliferation, differentiation,

Naturally Full Functors in Nature [PDF]

open access: yesActa Mathematica Sinica, English Series, 2005
We introduce and discuss the notion of naturally full functor. The definition is similar to the definition of separable functor: a naturally full functor is a functorial version of a full functor, while a separable functor is a functorial version of a faithful functor. We study general properties of naturally full functors.
