Improving laser beam coherence - A concept [PDF]
Laser frequencies may be reduced to single frequency or selected frequencies. For single frequency performance, spacing of frequencies falls in natural line width. For two or more frequencies, thicker spacing is used.

Natural scene statistics mediate the perception of image complexity [PDF]
Humans are sensitive to complexity and regularity in patterns. The subjective perception of pattern complexity is correlated to algorithmic (Kolmogorov-Chaitin) complexity as defined in computer science, but also to the frequency of naturally occurring ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

In this paper, it is confirmed that natural frequency of isolated table is operated and that degeneration, which means that some natural frequencies have the same value, has a bad influence. Pneumatic anti vibration apparatuses (AVAs) support that loaded

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Stochastic Investigation of Natural Frequency for Functionally Graded Plates
This paper presents the stochastic natural frequency analysis of functionally graded plates by applying artificial neural network (ANN) approach. Latin hypercube sampling is utilised to train the ANN model.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...
