NCAP embedded using structured programming

open access: yes2012 IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference Proceedings, 2012
This paper presents a network node embedded based on IEEE 1451 standard developed using structured programming to access the transducers in the WTIM. The NCAP was developed using Nios II processor and uClinux, a embedded operating system developed to features restricted hardware.

Evaluating automated emergency braking performance in simulated car-to-two-wheeler crashes in China: A comparison between C-NCAP tests and in-depth crash data

open access: yesAccident Analysis and Prevention, 2021
Automated Emergency Braking (AEB) is an effective way to prevent crashes from happening or mitigate their severity. Because riders of two-wheelers (TWs) are among the most vulnerable road users, New Car Assessment Programs, like the China New Car ...

Design methodology to reduce the chest deflection in US NCAP and EURO NCAP tests

International Journal of Automotive Technology, 2012
There have not been many studies on the factors that affect chest deflection, although the US NCAP thoracic injury criterion was recently shifted from the 3-msec clip to chest deflection. This study explored these factors and proposed a design methodology for the factors to minimize chest deflection.
