The NCATS Pharmaceutical Collection: a 10-year update
Drug Discovery Today, 2019The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) Pharmaceutical Collection (NPC), a comprehensive collection of clinically approved drugs, was made a public resource in 2011. Over the past decade, the NPC has been systematically profiled for activity across an array of pathways and disease models, generating an unparalleled amount of ...

GATE Mammogram Simulation of NCAT Breast Phantom
2009In this paper, we aim to acquire simulated mammograms. This simulated data is performed on GATE (Geant4 Application for Tomographic Emission), a platform for simulation based on Monte Carlo methods. On this software, a particular tool, the new CTscanner, is used to simulate the interation between X-ray and tissues.

Modeling respiratory motion variations in the 4D NCAT phantom
2007 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium Conference Record, 2007The current 4D NCAT phantom includes a flexible, parameterized respiratory model based on respiratory-gated CT data of a normal subject. A limitation of this model is that it is based on only one realization of the normal respiratory motion. The data upon which it was based also had a resolution lower than that offered by more advanced CT scanners and ...

Field Validation of Superpave Shear Test on NCAT Test Track
Journal of ASTM International, 2005Abstract When the National Center for Asphalt Technology Test Track was built in 2000, one of the primary objectives was to determine the ability of a number of laboratory tests to predict the permanent deformation of various mixtures. Repeated Shear at Constant Height (RSCH) was included as one of the tests in the laboratory study.
