PET Imaging of Cardiac Inflammation in Viral Myocarditis Using a DPP4‐Targeted Probe
This study describes a DPP4‐targeted PET probe for imaging myocardial inflammation by selectively targeting activated immune cells. Derived from the clinically approved small‐molecule inhibitor linagliptin, the probe demonstrates favorable biodistribution with specific cardiac uptake in myocarditis.

This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...

A programmable 2048‐element circular ultrasound array combined with a compact acoustic lens produces a thin “sound sheet” over a large field of view, and records echoes with wide angular diversity across the ring aperture. Coherence‐enhanced beamforming converts full‐matrix data into high‐contrast tomographic slices, delivering near‐diffraction‐limited

The Application of Electromagnetic NDT Method to the inspection of Non- ferrous Cast Materials [PDF]
Inspection of non-ferrous cast material is routinely carried out looking for casting defects inherent for the manufacturing process. The NDT methods employed are Radiography and Ultrasonics, primarily for sub-surface or internal defects and Penetrants

The volume POD as an optimisation tool of multiple NDT inspections of complex geometries
6 S.A conventional POD curve provides information about the capability of the NDT system to detect a flaw. Already proven for simple inspection tasks, the method fails to describe complex interactions of modern inspection systems inspecting complex ...

ABSTRACT Heterozygous variants in the AHDC1 gene are associated with Xia Gibbs Syndrome (XGS), a genetic disorder with a highly variable phenotype. Cognitive impairment, motor delay, language delay, neonatal hypotonia, and sleep apnea are considered “cardinal” signs of the disease.

Constitutive Model for Estimating Concrete Strength Using Ultrasonic Test Considering Mixing Ratios [PDF]
Evaluation of concrete strength is one of the important issues in the concrete industry and concrete structures. In most cases, during construction, samples of concrete are picked up and after curing, according to the existing standards, they are ...

Complexity Analysis of Bubble Plumes in Power Law Fluids Based on Chaos Theory
ABSTRACT In order to reveal the complexity of the internal flow of bubble plume in power law fluid, the flow characteristics and chaotic characteristics of plume are studied by experiment and theory. The chaotic characteristic parameters (correlation dimension D, K entropy, and Lyapunov exponent λ) of gas velocity under different superficial gas ...

Extended NDT for the quality assessment of adhesive bonded CFRP structures
10 S.Due to the increased use of carbon fibre reinforced plastics (CFRP) and the constant urge for lighter structures, adhesive bonding as an assembly technology has a great potential for high-loaded structures in the aeronautic industry.

CYP2D6 metabolizes about 20% of commonly used drugs, including tamoxifen, a major hormone therapy for breast cancer. Although the relationship between tamoxifen pharmacokinetics and CYP2D6 genotype has been demonstrated, residual variability in drug exposure remains unexplained.
