Near-Infrared Photometry of Blazars
Two days of observations were conducted at the Palomar Observatory during the nights of 25 and 26 February 1997 with the Hale telescope, in order to search for rapid variability in the near-infrared (NIR) bands J, H, Ks for a selection of eight blazars.

Self‐Healing and Stretchable Synaptic Transistor
A self‐healing stretchable synaptic transistor (3S‐T) is realized using a p‐PVDF‐HFP‐DBP/PDMS‐MPU‐IU bilayer as gate insulator, where dipole‐dipole interaction enhances polarization to achieve a large memory window. Leveraging its neuronal biomimicry, the synaptic transistor demonstrates electrically compatibility with the biological brain. Furthermore,

Solvent Co‐Intercalation Enabled Ca Storage in MoS2 for Ca‐Ion Batteries
Regulating electrolyte solvation levels enables otherwise non‐intercalatable Ca2+ ions to reversibly co‐intercalate into molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) as ether‐solvated species. The intercalation reversibility is strongly governed by solvent chain length, as demonstrated using diethylene glycol dimethyl ether (G2) and tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether (

Machine Learning‐Assisted Inverse Design of Soft and Multifunctional Hybrid Liquid Metal Composites
A machine learning framework is presented for inverse design of synthesizable multifunctional composites containing both liquid metal and solid inclusions. By integrating physics‐based modeling, data‐driven prediction, and Bayesian optimization, the approach enables intelligent design of experiments to identify optimal compositions and realize these ...

Development of a novel fluorescent gauze using indocyanine green
Gauzes are used in various ways, including wiping blood, compressing organs, and as markers during surgery. However, losing gauze during surgery can lead to pieces being left inside the body, causing time-consuming searches and unnecessary radiation ...

Cerebral near-infrared spectroscopy guided neonatal intensive care management for the preterm infant
Infants requiring admission to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) are particularly vulnerable to developing brain injury. The severity of the underlying clinical conditions and the complexity of care call for continuous, cot-side, non-invasive ...

Orbital Geometry‐Governed Response of Pressure‐Tunable Quantum Defects in hBN
Defects in hBN act as ultrasensitive quantum manometers when the energy of the intradefect optical transitions is modified by lattice compression. The orbital geometry of the electron wave functions governs how electron hopping and Coulomb interactions react uniquely to the reduction of the van der Waals gap and in‐plane compression, leading to robust ...
