Unification of bulk and interface electroresistive switching in oxide systems [PDF]
We demonstrate that the physical mechanism behind electroresistive switching in oxide Schottky systems is electroformation, as in insulating oxides. Negative resistance shown by the hysteretic current-voltage curves proves that impact ionization is at ...

Dynamic Negative Capacitance Response in Gete Rashba Ferroelectric
We experimentally investigate capacitance response of a thick ferroelectric GeTe single-crystal flake on the Si/SiO2 substrate, where p-doped Si layer serves as a gate electrode. We confirm by resistance measurements, that for three-dimensional flakes, electron concentration is not sensitive to the gate electric field due to the screening by bulk ...

Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Frequency and Voltage Dependence of Series Resistance in a Solar Cell [PDF]
While admittance measurements of solar cells are typically conducted in reverse or at zero bias, and analyzed using the depletion approximation, the operating point of the solar cell is in forward bias, and the series resistance is often estimated using ...

Transistor Switches using Active Piezoelectric Gate Barriers
This work explores the consequences of introducing a piezoelectric gate barrier in a normal field-effect transistor. Because of the positive feedback of strain and piezoelectric charge, internal charge amplification occurs in such an electromechanical ...

Channel-forming activity of syringopeptin 25 A in mercury-supported phospholipid monolayers and negatively charged bilayers [PDF]
Interactions of the cationic lipodepsipeptide syringopeptin 25 A (SP25A) with mercury-supported dioleoylphosphatidylcholine (DOPC), dioleoylphosphatidylserine (DOPS) and dioeleoylphosphatidic acid (DOPA) self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) were investigated

Negative capacitance in (FeCoZr)–(PZT) nanocomposite films [PDF]
In this work, attention was focused on the inductive contribution to the real part of admittance G(T, f) in (Fe0.45Co0.45Zr0.10)x(PZT)(1−x) nanocomposite films deposited in a mixed argon‐oxygen atmosphere. The observed G(x, f, T ) dependences for the films on the dielectric side of the insulator‐metal transition demonstrated the negative capacitance ...

The noncoding region of the genome plays a key role in regulating gene expression, and mutations within these regions are capable of altering it. Researchers have identified multiple functional noncoding mutations associated with increased cancer risk in the genome of breast cancer patients.

Novel Lossless Positive-/Negative-Grounded Capacitance Multipliers Using VCII
In the presented research, the second-generation voltage conveyor (VCII) is used in the design of active capacitance multipliers. In this paper, three positive and one negative lossless grounded capacitance multipliers (GCMs) are designed.
