Dielectric Resonator Negative Group Delay Circuit
Radio Science, 2021AbstractThis study investigates an innovative theory on design of dielectric resonator (DR) based negative group delay (NGD) microwave circuit. The NGD circuit is mainly constituted by a cylindrical bulk of DR as a coupling element with a microstrip line. The developed theory is analytically established from the S‐parameters modeling of this innovative

Superluminal effects and negative group delays in electronics, and their applications
Physical Review E, 2002The causality principle does not forbid negative group delays of analytic signals in electronic circuits; in particular, the peak of a pulse can leave the exit port of a circuit before it enters the input port. Furthermore, pulse distortion for these "superluminal" analytic signals can be negligible in both the optical and electronic domains.

A Broadband Dual‐Band Negative Group Delay Circuit With Flat Group Delay
International Journal of Circuit Theory and ApplicationsABSTRACTA broadband dual‐band negative group delay circuit (NGDC) with flat group delay is proposed. Without the cascade structure, the proposed NGDC consists of an open‐circuited coupled lines connected with a resistor through transmission lines and a matching network.

Engineered group delay transmission lines based on novel negative group delay networks
Loughborough Antennas & Propagation Conference (LAPC 2017), 2017Zero group delay performance over wide frequency bands is a prominent issue in wireless communication systems. Negative Group Delay (NGD) networks with the ability to produce positive phase variation with frequency, are proposed here as a promising solution. The principle and procedure for achieving -1O flat phase over 1.5-2.5GHz band using NGD network

Investigation on Microwave Negative Group Delay Circuit
Electromagnetics, 2011Abstract In this article, a fundamental analytical approach and experimental verification of a radio frequency active circuit capable of exhibiting negative group delay at microwave wavelengths are presented. By using the S-parameter theory, basic properties and characteristics of the negative group delay circuit under study are established.

Synthesis of negative group delay time circuit
2008 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference, 2008In this work, mathematical analysis and synthesis procedure on the negative group delay circuit has been presented with experimental results. Although broadband can be achieved with the proposed circuit, the work of increasing the amount of negative group delay time is still remained as a future work.

Reduction Technique of Differential Propagation Delay with Negative Group Delay Function
2020 14th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP), 2020This paper deals with an innovative technique of propagation delay reduction. The technique is based on the use of bandpass negative group delay (NGD) function. The principle of the propagation delay reduction is introduced by considering a simple scenario of Tx multi-wireless sensors communicating with a single Rx sensor.

Millimeter-wave negative group delay network
2016 URSI Asia-Pacific Radio Science Conference (URSI AP-RASC), 2016This paper describes a negative differential-phase group delay network operating at millimeter-wave frequencies, which can be used to compensate for frequency variations in group delay that may otherwise cause signal distortion. This approach utilizes a defect waveguide with a high Q-factor defect cavity resonator, realized with a high-resistivity ...

ANovel Dual-Band Negative Group Delay Microwave Circuit
2019 IEEE Radio and Wireless Symposium (RWS), 2019A novel dual-band negative group delay circuit (NGDC) is proposed. The proposed NGDC is composed of an open-circuited transmission line and two resistors connected by two transmission lines. The frequency ratio can be controlled by the characteristic impedance of the transmission lines.
