Absorption resonance and large negative delay in Rb vapor with buffer gas
We observe a narrow, isolated, two-photon absorption resonance in Rb for large one-photon detuning in the presence of a buffer gas. In the absence of buffer gas, a standard Lambda configuration of two laser frequencies gives rise to electromagnetically ...

A negative group delay model for feedback-delayed manual tracking
We propose that feedback-delayed manual tracking performance is limited by fundamental constraints imposed by the physics of negative group delay. To test this hypothesis, the results of an experiment in which subjects demonstrate both reactive and predictive dynamics are modeled by a linear system with delay-induced negative group delay.

Wave propagation in highly inhomogeneous thin films : exactly solvable models [PDF]
We present an exact treatment of wave propagation in some inhomogeneous thin films with highly space-dependent dielectric constant. It is based on a space transformation which replaces the physical space by the optical path.

Luminosity Sensing Application of Negative Group Delay Predictor
This article features on original application of negative group delay (NGD) predictor for the luminosity predetection. The low-pass (LP) type NGD prediction theory is established based on the time-advance consideration. The analytical design condition in function of expected prediction performance is formulated.

A Low-Loss Circuit with High-Pass Low-Pass Broadband Flat Negative Group Delay Characteristics
A multifunctional circuit with high-pass and low-pass negative group delays can be achieved by simply changing the values of the components in the circuit, without changing the circuit structure. While achieving negative group delay, the circuit also has

S-Parameter Model of Three Parallel Interconnect Lines Generating Negative Group-Delay Effect
This paper develops a negative group-delay (NGD) microwave circuit theory regarding topology consists of three parallel interconnect lines (3-PILs). The NGD topology under study is built using completely distributed microstrip lines. The 3-PIL NGD theory

Establishing normative values for 18-35 years age in neuropsychological tests used with head and brain injury patients during cognitive rehabilitation: Benton Visual Retention Test and National Adult Reading Test [PDF]
The Benton Visual Retention Test (BVRT) is a neuropsychological assessment of visuo-spatial and visuo-memory ability. Claims of high reliability and validity are based on solitary samples representative of a wide age range.

A Matched Negative Group Delay Circuit and its Integration With an Unequal Power Divider
In this paper, a resonator coupling negative group delay (NGD) circuit with resistor-loaded coupled lines is presented firstly, and then an unequal Wilkinson power divider with NGD characteristic is designed by integrating the proposed NGD circuit into ...
