Negative Ions and Charge Neutralization in the Cyclotron [PDF]
Evidence is given for the presence of negative hydrogen ions in the synchrocyclotron. They are lost by charge neutralization before they reach an energy of about 3 Mev. Protons have been made to circulate in the cyclotron without acceleration after they have reached an energy of 5 to 22 Mev and are found to be lost with a half-life of ⅓ to 2 seconds.

Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

Probing chemical dynamics with negative ions [PDF]
Experiments are reviewed in which key problems in chemical dynamics are probed by experiments based on photodetachment and/or photoexcitation of negative ions. Examples include transition state spectroscopy of biomolecular reactions, spectroscopy of open shell van der Waals complexes, photodissociation of free radicals, and time-resolved dynamics in ...

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.
