EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

A novel line selection method of single phase grounding fault suitable for coal mine power network

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2016
For problems that existing fault line selection methods for coal mine power network had low detecting sensitivity and were easily influenced by neutral point operation mode and electric arc at grounding point, characteristics of sequence current and ...

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Algorithm of Equivalent Inter-phase Impedance for Three-phase Unbalanced Loads and Its Applications

open access: yesKongzhi Yu Xinxi Jishu, 2015
It presented a method for calculating equivalent inter-phase impedance of three-phase unbalanced loads in three-phase three-wire system. Phase voltages and line currents of unbalanced system were decomposed into positive sequence and negative sequence ...

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Hybrid voltage and current control strategy for virtual synchronous generator under unbalanced voltage conditions

open access: yesIET Renewable Power Generation
The traditional VSG strategy does not consider the negative sequence component, which will lead to current imbalance and power oscillation under unbalanced voltage.

Collaborative Suppression Strategy for AC Asymmetric Faults in Offshore Wind Power MMC-HVDC Systems

open access: yesEnergies
When offshore wind power is connected to a grid via Modular multilevel converter-based High Voltage Direct Current (MMC-HVDC), the sending-end alternating current (AC) system is susceptible to asymmetrical faults. These faults lead to overcurrent surges,
