Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase

Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

The N3 power plant of Taipower is located in the southern tip of Taiwan and connected to the power pool by four out-linking 345-kV overhead transmission circuits. There are two 951-MW generators. PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.
