Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Co-phase Traction Supply System Based on Vv or Scott Traction Transformer and Its Control
Loss of operation speed and traction force, caused by power quality and neutral section, is the main problem of the electric railway’s traction power supply system.

Current harmonics in six-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) arise from inherent asymmetries caused by manufacturing tolerances and nonlinear characteristics in the inverter output. Additionally, magnetic saturation and slight imbalances in

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Performance of generator negative-sequence protection during single-phase fault [PDF]
Negative-sequence current is a component that resulted from unbalance conditions that occur in the system. Theoretically, problems caused by the negativesequence current are rare and can be ignored, but in reality the presence of negative sequence ...

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Reliable Detection of Broken Bar Fault through Negative Sequence of Stray Flux in Induction Motors
As well-known, the broken bar fault affects the harmonic content of the stator current and airgap & stray flux. This paper proposes to detect broken bar fault through negative sequence stray flux spectrum in induction motors (IMs).

Effects of DC-Current for Short-Time Negative Sequence Current of Synchronous Machine
When a line-to-lire short-circuit occurs, the positive-sequence-, the negative-sequence-and the DC-current flow in the armature winding of synchronous machine. The negative-sequence current is limited in JEC-114, as this current causes the induced current and the overheat on the surface of the rotor.
