Turn-to-Turn Fault Diagnosis on Three-Phase Power Transformer Using Hybrid Detection Algorithm
A power transformer (PT) in power generation or transmission is critical to maintaining electrical continuity. Fault detection on a PT is needed, especially of incipient faults, which are often caused by a turn-to-turn fault (TTF) before it develops into

Practical calculation of asymmetric short circuit current of DFIG connected to distribution network [PDF]
In view of the existing complex analytic calculations of DFIG short-circuit current are hardly applied in engineering projects, a practical calculation of asymmetric short-circuit current of DFIG is proposed.

Research on Life Loss of Generator Retainer Caused by Negative Sequence Current [PDF]
Abstract With a large number of wind and solar power sources connected to the power grid, higher requirements are put forward for the power generation equipment to respond to the power grid imbalance. The safety research of generator rotor retaining ring under the impact of negative sequence current is of great significance.

Summary This paper proposes an improved transient negative-sequence calculation formula for a large-capacity nuclear power generator system under unbalanced network conditions. Because of the disadvantages of traditional transient negative-sequence ratings, I2*2 t is concluded to be inadequate for rating the generator imbalance capability.
