ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Attribute Reduction of Incomplete Neighborhood Decision Rough Sets Based on Decision‑Cost Fusion Measures

open access: yesShuju Caiji Yu Chuli
Attribute reduction relies on knowledge granulation and uncertainty measurement, thus facilitating intelligent recognition. For incomplete continuous data, neighborhood decision rough sets induce attribute reduction.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

A Method for Improving Rough Set Approximation Accuracy in terms of j-Neighborhood Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesDelta Journal of Science, 2017
This paper aims to introduce an effective method for improving rough set approximation accuracy.Considering the j-neighborhood space, the lower and upper approximation operators are defined and their fundamentalproperties are obtained. The approximations

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Refinement of amino‐acid conformation vs. difference density maps in time‐resolved serial femtosecond crystallography data analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

Three-Way Decisions Making Using Covering Based Fractional Orthotriple Fuzzy Rough Set Model

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
On the basis of decision-theoretical rough sets (DTRSs), the three-way decisions give new model of decision approach for deal with the problem of decision. This proposed model of decision method is based on the loss function of DTRSs.

Reduction of Information Systems via Rough Set Model

open access: yes, 2022
Rough sets are efficient for attribute reduction and in extracting rules in data mining. There are many important problems in rough sets and we use algorithms to solve them. An important idea of rough sets is to approximately represent a whole space with

Idealizing Rough Topological Structures Generated by Several Types of Maximal Neighborhoods and Exploring Their Applications

open access: yesAxioms
Several different topologies utilizing ideals are created and compared with previous topologies. The results show that the previous ones are weaker than the current ones and that the current ones are stronger. The merits of these topologies are proposed,

Parallel Attribute Reduction Algorithm for Complex Heterogeneous Data Using MapReduce

open access: yesComplexity, 2018
Parallel attribute reduction is one of the most important topics in current research on rough set theory. Although some parallel algorithms were well documented, most of them are still faced with some challenges for effectively dealing with the complex ...
