The Future of Research in Cognitive Robotics: Foundation Models or Developmental Cognitive Models?
Research in cognitive robotics founded on principles of developmental psychology and enactive cognitive science would yield what we seek in autonomous robots: the ability to perceive its environment, learn from experience, anticipate the outcome of events, act to pursue goals, and adapt to changing circumstances without resorting to training with ...

Levetiracetam versus Phenobarbitone in Neonatal Seizures - An Open label Randomized Controlled Trial
BackgroundnbspPhenobarbitone is the traditional first-line anticonvulsant for neonatal seizures while levetiracetam a newer anti-epileptic has uncertain efficacy in comparisonObjectivenbspTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of ...

3D‐Nanoprinted Fluidically Steerable Soft Robotic Microcatheters
This work introduces a ∼3‐French (1 mm‐in‐diameter) soft robotic microcatheter fabricated by means of two‐photon direct laser writing. The 3D‐printed microcatheter enables remote, on‐demand steering via microfluidic actuation for guidewire‐free navigation of vascular networks as well as microcatheter‐mediated delivery of fluidic payloads to target ...

Neonatal Seizure Models to Study Epileptogenesis
Current therapeutic strategies for epilepsy include anti-epileptic drugs and surgical treatments that are mainly focused on the suppression of existing seizures rather than the occurrence of the first spontaneous seizure.

Seizures in the neonatal period
OBJECTIVE: To characterize and differentiate neonatal seizures from those that occur at different ages, based on a critical assessment of the available literature and also on the authorś clinical experience. SOURCES: Literature review, including up-to-date and classical studies that helped us to better understand clinical, neurophysiological and ...

ABSTRACT Brown and beige adipocytes dissipate energy as heat, yet effective strategies to enhance their mitochondrial efficiency remain limited. Here, we identify Agnuside (AGN) as a selective stabilizer of the complex I assembly factor NDUFAF6. AGN directly binds cytosolic NDUFAF6, suppresses its ubiquitination, prolongs its half‐life, and facilitates

CD4+ Tregs Drive Post‐Ischemic Sprouting Angiogenesis via Endothelial YY1/MAML1 Reactivation
ABSTRACT Microvascular complications of diabetes are chronic diseases of small vessels. We previously found that CD4+ regulatory T‐cells (Tregs) are markedly reduced in type 2 diabetes (T2D) after ischemic injury in both mice and humans, and that Treg deficiency in immunodeficient mice impairs vascular regeneration.

TOLLIP Inhibits Psoriasis Progression via Suppressing PKM2‐Mediated Glycolysis in Keratinocytes
In this study, we identify TOLLIP as a critical regulator of psoriasis pathogenesis through its modulation of glycolytic metabolism. Our findings establish the TOLLIP‐PKM2‐glycolysis axis as a key mechanism linking metabolic reprogramming to psoriasis pathogenesis, and propose TOLLIP as a promising therapeutic target.
