Dilated Cardiomyopathy and Aortic Thrombosis in a Capuchin Monkey (Sapajus apella)

ABSTRACT This case report describes a capuchin monkey (Sapajus apella) that presented with bilateral paralysis and cold hind limbs. Clinical examination, including ultrasound imaging, revealed dilated cardiomyopathy and aortic thrombosis. Macroscopic, histopathological, and immunohistochemical analyses confirmed these findings.

Incidence, Risk Factors, and Outcome of Transplant‐Related Intra‐Cranial Hemorrhage in Pediatric Thalassemia Major Patients

Intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) occurred in 4.7% of pediatric patients after matched‐related bone marrow transplantation for thalassemia major, predominantly in the early post‐transplant period. Older age at transplant is a significant predictor for ICH.

Excellent Outcomes With High‐Risk Pediatric Hepatoblastoma: A Detailed Analysis of a Large, Single‐Center Experience
