Protein expression pattern distinguishes different lymphoid neoplasms

PROTEOMICS, 2005
Abstract To identify proteins associated with the histological subtypes of lymphoid neoplasms, we studied the proteomes of 42 cell lines from human lymphoid neoplasms including Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL; four cell lines), B cell malignancies (19 cell lines), T cell malignancies (16 cell lines), and natural killer (NK)

Expression and clinical significance of cortactin protein in ovarian neoplasms

Clinical and Translational Oncology, 2015
To examine the expression of cortactin in epithelial ovarian cancer, and discuss the relationship between the expression of cortactin and the clinical pathology characteristics in epithelial ovarian cancer, as well as clinical significance. The expression of cortactin was detected using real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR and immunohistochemical SP ...

HMNPPID: A Database of Protein-protein Interactions Associated with Human Malignant Neoplasms

2018 IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine (BIBM), 2018
Protein-protein interactions (PPIs) play a key role in varies aspects of the structural and functional organization of the cell. Knowledge about them unveils the molecular mechanisms of biological processes. At the same time, the PPIs related to human malignant neoplasms can shed light on the biology behind these neoplasms.

Immunoreactivity of neurofilament proteins in neuroendocrine neoplasms.

Modern pathology : an official journal of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, Inc, 1991
We immunostained histologic sections of formalin-paraffin-processed specimens from 112 neuroendocrine tumors to evaluate the expression of intermediate filaments, especially neurofilament (NF) protein. The commercially available anti-human NF protein monoclonal antibody was raised against the Mr 200,000 and 70,000 components of neurofilaments.

[Role of S100B protein in neoplasms and other diseases].

Magyar onkologia, 2004
The S100 protein family constitutes the largest subgroup of the Ca binding proteins. To date 20 members of the family were discovered. S100 proteins regulate intracellular processes such as cell growth and motility, cell cycle regulation, transcription and differentiation. S100B protein is expressed constitutively by brain astrocytes.

[A study of P53 protein expression in fibrous neoplasms].

Zhonghua bing li xue za zhi = Chinese journal of pathology, 1996
An immunohistochemical method utilizing microwave oven treated avidin-biotin complex (ABC) technique was used in this study to detect P53 protein expression in 87 parafin-embedded fibrous neoplasm tissues. The results showed that the total positive staining rate was 20.7%.
