A two‐stage model for precise identification and Gleason grading of clinically significant prostate cancer: a hybrid approach

open access: yesJournal of Medical Radiation Sciences, Volume 72, Issue 1, Page 93-105, March 2025.
This study developed a two‐stage model using radiomics‐based multiparametric MRI and clinical indicators to help identify and grade clinically significant prostate cancer. The model showed promising levels of diagnostic accuracy and predictive performance.

Elevated tissue transglutaminase immunoglobulin A: Celiac disease or polytypic plasmacytosis?

open access: yesJPGN Reports, EarlyView.
Abstract We report a case of an adolescent girl post cardiac transplant with hypergammaglobulinemia and presumed celiac disease (CD), who had a persistently elevated anti‐tissue transglutaminase immunoglobulin A despite a gluten free diet. Refractory CD and Crohn's disease were excluded.

The Role of (Line‐Field Confocal) Optical Coherence Tomography and Reflectance Confocal Microscopy in the Diagnosis of a Malignant Eccrine Differentiated Sweat Gland Tumour With Features of a Porocarcinoma and an Eccrine Spiradenocarcinoma: A Case Report

open access: yesJEADV Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Malignant eccrine differentiated sweat gland tumours, including porocarcinoma and eccrine spiradenocarcinoma, are rare and aggressive neoplasms that pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. This case report aims to describe the role of in‐vivo and ex‐vivo line‐field confocal optical coherence tomography (LC‐OCT), optical coherence ...

Modulation of RASD2 by miRNA‐485‐5p Drives Thyroid Cancer Progression and Metastasis

open access: yesThe Kaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the role of RASD2 (Ras Homolog Enriched In Striatum) in thyroid carcinoma progression and its modulation by microRNA‐485‐5p. Differential RASD2 expression patterns were initially identified through bioinformatic analysis of public databases.

Dexmedetomidine Blocks the ERK Pathway by Inhibiting MAP3K8 to Achieve a Protective Effect in Lung Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesThe Kaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Lung ischemia/reperfusion injury (LIRI) is a primary contributor to morbidity and mortality following lung transplantation. Dexmedetomidine (DEX) protects the lungs from I/R injury, but the underlying mechanisms remain uncertain. This paper examined the protective effect of DEX in LIRI and elucidated the potential regulation involved. LIRI was
