ABSTRACT Very late‐onset myasthenia gravis (VLOMG) is rare myasthenia gravis (MG) that begins after the age of 65 years. Here, we describe a 72‐year‐old patient who presented with dysphagia. Upper gastrointestinal radiography revealed delayed initiation of swallowing in the pharynx and inadequate opening of the upper esophageal sphincter.

Abstract Background During rapid sequence induction, either rocuronium 1.0 mg kg−1 or suxamethonium 1.0 mg kg−1 can be administered to facilitate endotracheal intubation. We hypothezised that rocuronium provided a larger proportion of excellent intubating conditions compared to suxamethonium in elderly patients.

Structure of Alkaline Hydrolysis Products of Neostigmine Methylsulfate and Neostigmine Bromide
Abstract The nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of the alkaline hydrolysis products of neostigmine bromide and neostigmine methylsulfate confirm that the products are m-hydroxyphenyltrimethylammonium salts and not 3-dimethylaminophenol as mentioned in early literature. Ultraviolet, infrared, and elemental analysis data are also presented
