From Singapore's Forests to Parks: Impacts of Urbanization on Dung Beetle Communities in a Tropical Island City

We investigated Singapore's dung beetle communities using multiple trapping methods in 12 sites with varying degrees of urbanization. Our results show a decline in dung beetle richness and diversity, with changes in community composition and species turnover with increasing urbanization.

Oro‐Facial Contact Behaviors in Wild White Bald‐Headed Uakaris (Cacajao calvus): First Documentation of Direct Facial Contact and Facial Investigation in Pitheciidae

We document the first instances of direct oro‐facial contact and facial investigation in wild Cacajao calvus. These rare observations expand the social repertoire of Pitheciidae, suggesting that close‐range tactile communication complements the visual signaling of their distinctive red faces.

Management coverage and spatial gaps for carnivore habitat across Mexico

We evaluated the spatial overlap between four land management types and the habitat of 28 terrestrial carnivores in Mexico. Our findings reveal that non‐designated land management types like Indigenous Territories may provide significant habitat coverage, and that significant coverage gaps for carnivores remain.
