Transfersomes with core and surface‐loaded NF‐κB p65 siRNA for enhanced transdermal transfection and effective treatment of psoriasis

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
TCPL, a transfersome with Tween 80 and PEI, enables efficient transdermal siNF‐κB delivery, resolving PEI's toxicity issue. It promotes lysosomal escape and effective transfection, silences NF‐κB, modulates immunity, and inhibits angiogenesis, alleviating psoriasis. With good biocompatibility, TCPL holds strong clinical translation potential. Schematic

Maximizing Neurovascular Outcomes of Facial Transplantation: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesClinical Anatomy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Facial transplantation is a division of reconstructive surgery which aims to improve the function and appearance of a face that has endured severe disfigurement. Currently, the face transplant procedure uses allogenic tissue, harvested from a brain‐dead donor, to replace damaged facial components.

Human Keratinocytes Express the Three Major Splice Forms of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor

open access: yes, 1995
Vascular endothelial growth factor is a powerful mitogen for endothelial cells, recently reported to be produced by keratinocytes. In the present work, we examined human keratinocytes in primary culture for the splice variants of vascular endothelial ...
