Management of Choroidal Neovascularization Secondary to Pathological Myopia
Choroidal neovascularization (CNV) secondary to pathological myopia is an important cause of significant visual impairment in young adults. High myopia is particularly prevalent in Asian population. New scientific contributions have been made to the understanding of high myopia and myopic CNV.

Gastric cancer‐derived exosomal TAGLN2 is identified as a key mediator of vascular reprogramming, with significantly elevated levels detected in patient serum. Independent of canonical SEMA4D signaling, it nucleates a cytoplasmic TAGLN2/NRP1/SEMA4D ternary complex that dually activates YAP, promoting angiogenesis, vascular dysfunction, and metastasis ...

Enhancing CAR‐T Cell Efficacy in Solid Tumors by Inhibiting CCL5/VEGF‐Mediated Angiogenesis
This study reveals that CAR‐T cells in solid tumors produce CCL5, which paradoxically induces VEGF and angiogenesis to promote tumor growth. Blocking CCL5/VEGF signaling—through gene knockout, or the CCR5 inhibitor maraviroc—significantly enhances the antitumor efficacy of CAR‑T therapy (the diagram was created in Biorender).

This work proposes a multifunctional Bi2WO6:Yb,Er@CuS@CS nanocomposite that integrates photodynamic therapy (PDT), near‐infrared‐triggered photothermal therapy (PTT), and Cu2+ release for infected wound repair. The nanocomposite demonstrates enhanced antibacterial efficacy via combined PDT, PTT, and Cu2+ release, effective immunomodulatory by mild ...

Microglia in pathological neovascularization in the retina
INTRODUCTION. Mononuclear phagocytes (e.g. microglia, macrophages) have been characterized as potential mediators of retinal neovascularization and degeneration. In vivo assessments of mononuclear phagocyte behavior in animals provides an important insight into disease that improves the understanding of pathological mechanisms and helps to approach new

A dual‐network bFGF@CB‐gel integrates: i) ChSMA scaffold (mechanical support/BMSCs delivery); ii) BC carrier (sustained bFGF release via EGFL/Itga2b and COMP/PI3K/AKT for adhesion/osteogenesis); iii) bFGF/PI3K/AKT/eNOS for angiogenesis. This rational, synergistic design addresses CSD bone regeneration challenges.
