Phylogenetic relationships within Nereididae (Annelida : Phyllodocida)
Invertebrate Systematics, 2006Nereididae Johnston, 1865, part of the large clade Phyllodocida, is one of the best-known annelid groups. Presently, there are some 500 nominal species grouped into 42 genera, although there is little consensus among different authors as to how they should be classified.

Genetic population structure ofNeanthes succinea(Polychaeta: Nereididae)
Journal of the Marine Biological Association of the United Kingdom, 1992Two samples ofNeanthes succinea(Frey & Leuckart 1847) from the Mediterranean Sea were investigated. Twenty-one loci were analysed; seven of them were polymorphic in both populations. The level of heterozygosity was 2.2% and 4.4% in populations from the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic coasts respectively. The value of Nei's genetic identity index (1=0.965),

On the Nereididae (Polychaeta: Annelida) fauna of the Bay of İzmir
Zoology in the Middle East, 2000Abstract This study, dealing with the taxonomic features of Nereididae species, was conducted at 7 stations located in Izmir Bay and its adjacent areas. The benthic samples examined yielded 7 genera and 15 species; of these Micronereis variegata Claparede, 1863 is recorded for the first time in Turkish waters.

Platynereis nadiae sp. n. (Polychaeta: Nereididae) from Italian coasts
Zoologica Scripta, 1992A new species, Platynereis nadiae sp. n. (Polychacta: Ncrcididac), from thc Mediterranean Sea is described. It is clearly distinguished from the other Platynereis species by the distribution and the morphology of the homogomph falciger setae and by the structure of thc tcntacular cirri.

Nereididae, undetermined (Fig. 6 D) Material examined. None. Image data. Field ID: Platynereis sp. Collecting event MI QLD 2413. Image 0446–0450 of Alexander Semenov. Remarks. Unfortunately the specimen photographed was misplaced, so that at present this distinctively pigmented species is only known by image records.

Mitochondrial genome of the polychaete Tylorrhynchus heterochaetus (Phyllodocida, Nereididae)
Mitochondrial DNA Part A, 2015We firstly reported the complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) of the polychaete Tylorrhynchus heterochaetus. Illumina next-generation sequencing generated a total of 19,796 reads with an average depth of 122.91×. The mitogenome is 16,106 bp in length including the typical structure of 13 protein coding genes, two rRNA genes, 22 tRNA genes and a ...
