4d higgsed network calculus and elliptic DIM algebra

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2022
Supersymmetric gauge theories of certain class possess a large hidden nonperturbative symmetry described by the Ding-Iohara-Miki (DIM) algebra which can be used to compute their partition functions and correlators very efficiently.

Network on Chip: a New Approach of QoS Metric Modeling Based on Calculus Theory

open access: yes, 2011
A NoC is composed by IP cores (Intellectual Propriety) and switches connected among themselves by communication channels. End-to-End Delay (EED) communication is accomplished by the exchange of data among IP cores.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Modelling the guaranteed QoS for wireless sensor networks: a network calculus approach

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2011
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) became one of the high technology domains during the last 10 years. Real-time applications for them make it necessary to provide the guaranteed quality of service (QoS).

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Service chain deployment algorithms for deterministic end-to-end delay upper bound

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2021
To solve the problem that the current service chain deployment algorithms cannot guarantee the delay of each packet passing through the service chain (SC), a SC deployment algorithm for deterministic end-to-end delay upper bound was proposed.First, the ...

The Sensor Network Calculus as Key to the Design of Wireless Sensor Networks with Predictable Performance

open access: yesJournal of Sensor and Actuator Networks, 2017
In this article, we survey the sensor network calculus (SensorNC), a framework continuously developed since 2005 to support the predictable design, control and management of large-scale wireless sensor networks with timing constraints.

The neural crest‐associated gene ERRFI1 is involved in melanoma progression and resistance toward targeted therapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.
