Enhancing security and novel user-clustering with energy harvesting and coded cooperation in PD-NOMA
This study introduces a low-complexity, short-code-based strategy that combines energy harvesting for power domain non-orthogonal multiple access (PD-NOMA) techniques.

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

SNCC: A Selective Network-Coded Cooperation Scheme in Wireless Networks
Network-coded cooperation is a new communication paradigm that exploits spatial diversity by pooling distributed "communication" (relay) and also the distributed "computation" resources (coding) of different nodes in a network so as to increase wireless ...

Relay selection methods for maximizing the lifetime of wireless sensor networks [PDF]
Combined analytical and fuzzy techniques are proposed for improving the battery lifetime, performance, as well as energy efficiency of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) with the aid of efficient relay selection methods.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Agile Mobile Edge Computing and Network-coded Cooperation in 5G
The architecture of the network is undergoing a series of structural changes from the core network to the user to pave the way for 5G. New infrastructure elements are being massively deployed, thus making 5G more heterogeneous.

DMT Optimal Cooperative Protocols with Destination-Based Selection of the Best Relay [PDF]
We design a cooperative protocol in the context of wireless mesh networks in order to increase the reliability of wireless links. Destination terminals ask for cooperation when they fail in decoding data frames transmitted by source terminals.

Cooperative network coded ARQ strategy for broadcast networks
A novel cooperative automatic repeat request (ARQ) method with network coding is proposed for broadcast networks where single source node broadcasts multiple packets to multiple destinations. Upon a failed transmission, multiple relays cooperate with the source node at the retransmission phase, where network coding is used to combine multiple lost ...

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.
