Decentralized network coding [PDF]

open access: yesManufacturing Engineer, 2005
This paper proposes deterministic algorithms for decentralized network coding. Decentralized coding allows us to locally specify the coding operations at network nodes without knowledge of the overall network topology, and to accommodate future changes in the network such as addition of receivers.

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified

Ergodic sum-rate analysis for multicast network with wireless energy harvesting relay

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
In the letter, a wireless energy harvesting (WEH) multicast network is proposed. Two source nodes communicate with their respective destination nodes via a WEH relay node.

Phosphoinositides and inositol phosphates as molecular glues

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Inositol phosphates (IPs) and phosphoinositides (PIPs) regulate diverse eukaryotic processes. Beyond recruiting signaling proteins or acting as structural cofactors, recent studies suggest they mediate protein–protein interactions as natural molecular glues.

Evolutionary computation with spatial receding horizon control to minimize network coding resources [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The minimization of network coding resources, such as coding nodes and links, is a challenging task, not only because it is a NP-hard problem, but also because the problem scale is huge; for example, networks in real world may have thousands or even ...

Minimal coding cost and low delay multicast routing of wireless mesh networks

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2016
A minimal network coding cost and low delay multicast routing (MNCLDMR)of wireless mesh networks was presented. The goal of MNCLDMR was to select the appropriate network coding nodes, mini ize network coding and reduce network delay.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Information multicast in (pseudo-)planar networks: Efficient network coding over small finite fields [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Network coding encourages in-network mixing of information flows for enhanced network capacity, particularly for multicast data dissemination. This work aims to explore properties in the underlying network topology for efficient network coding solutions,

Transmission of Analog Information Over the Multiple Access Relay Channel Using Zero-Delay Non-Linear Mappings

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
We consider the zero-delay encoding of discrete-time analog information over the Multiple Access Relay Channel (MARC) using non-linear mapping functions.

Network Coding as a Service

open access: yesCoRR, 2016
Network Coding (NC) shows great potential in various communication scenarios through changing the packet forwarding principles of current networks. It can improve not only throughput, latency, reliability and security but also alleviates the need of coordination in many cases.
