European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Feedback stabilization of Networked Control Systems [PDF]

open access: yes2009 IEEE Control Applications, (CCA) & Intelligent Control, (ISIC), 2009
In this paper the stability analysis and control synthesis problems for networked control systems (NCS) with bounded transmission delays (constant and unknown or time-varying) are investigated. First, stability conditions for NCS described by ARMA models are established and a method for the determination of admissible delay range is developed.

Health‐Related Quality of Life and Symptom Severity Among Patients With PIK3CA‐Related Overgrowth Spectrum: A Mixed‐Methods Study to Understand Real‐World Experience With Alpelisib Treatment

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background PIK3CA‐related overgrowth spectrum (PROS) includes several rare overgrowth disorders resulting from somatic gain‐of‐function mutations in PIK3CA. Despite treatment advances, including the recent approval of alpelisib for PROS in the United States, literature detailing the patient experience with PROS is limited.

Fault Diagnosis of Networked Control Systems [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, 2008
Fault Diagnosis of Networked Control Systems Networked Control Systems (NCSs) deal with feedback control systems with loops closed via data communication networks. Control over a network has many advantages compared with traditionally controlled systems, such as a lower implementation cost, reduced wiring, simpler installation and maintenance ...

Heterogeneity in the Global Practice of Central Nervous System Staging in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is assessed by cell counting and cytomorphology from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and is used for treatment stratification worldwide. The ratio of “CNS2” patients in clinical trials ranges from 3% to 40%, with unclear prognostic significance ...

Increased Risk of Sarcomas in Children With Congenital Anomalies: Findings From the Genetic Overlap Between Anomalies and Cancer in Kids (GOBACK) Registry Linkage Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Pediatric sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of tumors that contribute disproportionately to cancer mortality in children. Although congenital anomalies are among the strongest known risk factors for childhood cancer, the risk of specific sarcoma subtypes among affected individuals has not yet been thoroughly evaluated. Procedure We

Cluster-Based Maximum Consensus Time Synchronization for Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks

open access: yesSensors, 2017
Time synchronization is one of the key technologies in Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks (IWSNs), and clustering is widely used in WSNs for data fusion and information collection to reduce redundant data and communication overhead.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Design and Implementation of PHM Fault Screening for Network Control System of CRH2 EMU Based on MapReduce

open access: yes机车电传动, 2021
When the train fails, the on-board device DRWTD receives the corresponding fault data and sends it to PHM ground system in real time through wireless signals. Because DRWTD had transmission cycle and may interrupt communication with PHM ground system due

Approximate Message Passing for Structured Affine Rank Minimization Problem

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
The topic of the rank minimization problem with affine constraints has been well studied in recent years. However, in many applications the data can exhibit other structures beyond simply being low rank.
