End-To-End Delay Optimization in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN)
In this paper, we are interested in optimizing the delay of event-driven wireless sensor networks, for which events does not occur frequently. In such systems, most of the energy is consumed when the radios are on, waiting for an arrival to occur.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Evolutionary optimization of RBF networks [PDF]
One of the main obstacles to the widespread use of artificial neural networks is the difficulty of adequately defining values for their free parameters. This article discusses how Radial Basis Function (RBF) networks can have their parameters defined by genetic algorithms.

In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

Industrial water management by multiobjective optimization: from individual to collective solution through eco-industrial parks. [PDF]
Industrial water networks are designed in the first part by a multiobjective optimization strategy, where fresh water, regenerated water flow rates as well as the number of network connections (integer variables) are minimized.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Optimizing Propositional Networks
General Game Playing (GGP) programs need a Game Description Language (GDL) reasoner to be able to interpret the game rules and search for the best actions to play in the game. One method for interpreting the game rules consists of translating the GDL game descrip-tion into an alternative representation that the player can use to reason more effciently ...
