Intelligent Dynamic Network Reconfiguration [PDF]

open access: yes2007 IEEE International Parallel and Distributed Processing Symposium, 2007
Dynamic network reconfiguration is a technique in which the routing tables of the nodes in the vicinity of a failure are updated in real-time. The technique has been proved effective only if no failures occur after the reconfiguration process has started.

Reconfigurable monitoring for telecommunication networks

open access: yesPeerJ Computer Science, 2020
This article addresses the monitoring problem of the telecommunication networks. We consider these networks as multilevel dynamic objects. It shows that reconfigurable systems are necessary for their monitoring process in real life. We implement the reconfiguration abilities of the systems through the synthesis of monitoring programs and their ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Extended mixed integer quadratic programming for simultaneous distributed generation location and network reconfiguration

open access: yesElectrical engineering & Electromechanics, 2023
Introduction. To minimise power loss, maintain the voltage within the acceptable range, and improve power quality in power distribution networks, reconfiguration and optimal distributed generation placement are presented. Power flow analysis and advanced

A novel tool flow for increased routing configuration similarity in multi-mode circuits [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A multi-mode circuit implements the functionality of a limited number of circuits, called modes, of which at any given time only one needs to be realised.

Bioinspired Shape‐Memory Hook Fasteners With Programmable Interlocking and Silent Release

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Bioinspired hook fasteners made from epoxy shape‐memory polymers are shown to switch between strong, secure attachment and gentle, silent release when heated. By combining programmable geometry and material response, these adaptive fasteners outperform commercial systems in strength and noise control, enabling new solutions for robotics, medical ...

Selective and Precise Editing of Digital Polymers Through Parallel or Series Toehold‐Mediated Strand Displacement

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A sequence‐encoded supramolecular construct containing two accessible toeholds is developed herein for enabling multiple editing operations. By introducing specific input strands, it is possible to selectively erase or rewrite digital content through parallel or series toehold‐mediated strand displacement (PTMSD or STMSD).
