Abstract Background Transsynaptic α‐synuclein propagation plays a crucial role in the progression of Lewy body disease. We previously demonstrated that an α‐amino‐3‐hydroxy‐5‐methyl‐4‐isoxazolepropionic acid receptor antagonist, perampanel, blocks neuronal uptake of α‐synuclein preformed fibrils (PFFs) in an activity‐dependent manner.

Altered Cerebrospinal Fluid Tryptophan–Kynurenine Pathway Metabolism in Multiple System Atrophy
Abstract Background Alterations in tryptophan–kynurenine (TRP‐KYN) metabolism, which is associated with neuroinflammation, remain unclear in multiple system atrophy (MSA). Objective The aim was to investigate cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) TRP metabolites in MSA and their associations with other biomarkers.

ABSTRACT Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by cognitive decline and pathological protein aggregation. Comprehensive quantitative proteomics of brain tissues from AD patients is critical for pursuing a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms that drive AD progression.

Neurofilament Light Protein Rod Domain Exhibits Structural Heterogeneity
Neurofilaments are neuron-specific proteins that belong to the intermediate filament (IFs) protein family, with the neurofilament light chain protein (NFL) being the most abundant. The IFs structure typically includes a central coiled-coil rod domain comprised of coils 1A, 1B, and 2, separated by linker regions. The thermal stability of the IF molecule
