Improved Design and Thermo-Mechanical Verification of Deflection Magnet Beam Collimator of EAST-NBI System

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
The deflection magnet (DM) is the most important component of the Neutral Beam Injection (NBI) system of Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST), which can magnetically deflect the un-neutralized charged particles after the neutralized ...

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Investigation of the effects of neutral particles on beam-ion losses in the EAST tokamak

open access: yesNuclear Fusion
Efficient control of beam-ion losses is crucial for sustaining long-pulse, high-performance operation in future fusion devices. In this work, EAST tokamak experiments combined with three-dimensional modelling are used to systematically assess the effects

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

A numerical method for calculating the driven current of neutral beam injection in tokamaks

open access: yesAIP Advances
The current driven by neutral beam injection in tokamak is calculated, and the slowing-down distribution function of the fast ion is obtained by the backward Euler iteration method, including the pitch angle scattering collision.

Solution‐Processed Two‐Dimensional Indium Oxide on Sodium‐Embedded Alumina for Reconfigurable Optoelectronic Synaptic Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Wafer‐scale two‐dimensioanl In2Se3 oxidized into InOx on sodium‐embedded beta‐alumina enables multifunctional reconfigurable electronics. Sodium ions accumulate within distinct spatial distribution under drain‐controlle and gate‐controlled operation. Drain‐control operation gives controllability of ultraviolet‐driven optoelectronic synaptic conductance
