Top‐down organic pillaring expands the interlayer spacing of bulk‐sized MoS2 particles while preserving the bulk morphology. Operando X‐ray diffraction and electrochemical dilatometry show that MoS2‐bulk undergoes solvent co‐intercalation in diglyme electrolyte, causing large structural expansion, while pillared, expanded MoS2 suppresses solvent uptake

Redox dual‐defects (Cs substitution and O vacancies) in 2D hydrated WO3 steer O2 activation toward selective singlet oxygen evolution. WO‐CO achieves 8.6–15.8 times higher 1O2 production than single‐defect or pristine catalysts, enabling efficient pollutant mineralization via a pathway‐selective photocatalytic mechanism.

By means of Mawhin's continuation theorem, we prove the existence of periodic solutions for a p-Laplacian neutral functional differential equation with multiple deviating arguments $$ (varphi_p(x'(t)-c(t)x'(t-r)))' = f(x(t))x'(t)+g(t,x(t),x(t-au_1(t)

Bandgap‐engineered AlGaAs/GaAs heterostructures exhibit wavelength‐selective dual‐polarity photoelectrochemistry, switching from photocathodic to photoanodic response depending on excitation wavelength. The polarity transition is governed by band‐selective absorption, built‐in electric‐field‐driven carrier transport, and interfacial charge‐transfer ...

In this paper, we use the coincidence degree theory to establish the existence and uniqueness of T-periodic solutions for the first-order neutral functional differential equation, with two deviating arguments, $$ (x(t)+Bx(t-delta))'= g_{1}(t ...

Interface Effects in Ultrathin Silicon on Insulator Films
This work establishes a systematic framework to discriminate how bulk and interface phenomena affect charge transport in ultrathin P‐doped silicon‐on‐insulator (SOI) films. For Si films below 15 nm, electrical characterization demonstrates that interface states drive charge transport, shifting the metal‐insulator transition (MIT) critical dopant ...

Highly hydrophilic surfaces (water contact angle, ≈17.7°) exhibiting surprising water slipping performance (sliding angle, ≈7.3°) are successfully prepared via simple chemisorption of polyethylene glycol (PEG) organosilane and subsequent alkali‐treatment.

Sulfur‐doped graphitized carbon nanofibers act as adaptive catalyst–support platforms, enabling dynamic sulfur‐mediated reconstruction and strong metal–support interactions. This unique behavior enhances catalyst stability and controls reaction pathways, achieving highly selective urea oxidation (∼92% N2) coupled with efficient hydrogen evolution ...

The asymptotic properties of the solutions of the $n$-th order neutral differential equations [PDF]
summary:The aim of this paper is to deduce oscillatory and asymptotic behavior of the solutions of the $n-$th order neutral differential equation \[ (x(t)-px(t-\tau ))^{(n)}-q(t)x(\sigma (t))=0\,, \] where $\sigma (t)$ is a delayed or advanced ...
