Time Evolution of Jets and Perturbative Color Neutralization [PDF]
In-medium production of leading hadrons in hard reactions, carrying the main fraction of the jet momentum, involves two stages: (i) the parton originated from the hard process propagates through the medium radiating gluons due to the initial hard ...

Tests of the Neutrality of Money
To test structural hypotheses, like monetary neutrality, we need a structural model. In this paper we discuss two recent contributions to the VAR literature on long run neutrality. We argue that Fisher and Seater's (1993) analysis is as vulnerble to the Cooley-LeRoy critique as were the early VAR applications.

Lack of Durable Cross-Neutralizing Antibodies Against Zika Virus from Dengue Virus Infection
Cross-reactive antibodies elicited by dengue virus (DENV) infection might affect Zika virus infection and confound serologic tests. Recent data demonstrate neutralization of Zika virus by monoclonal antibodies or human serum collected early after DENV ...

Canine distemper virus neutralization activity is low in human serum and it is sensitive to an amino acid substitution in the hemagglutinin protein [PDF]
© 2015 Elsevier Inc.Serum was analyzed from 146 healthy adult volunteers in eastern Africa to evaluate measles virus (MV) and canine distemper virus (CDV) neutralizing antibody (nAb) prevalence and potency.

Antibody titers against a viral pathogen are typically measured using an antigen binding assay, such as an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), which only measures the ability of antibodies to identify a viral antigen of interest.

Austria and the Hungarian uprising in 1956: Neutrality being tested, or Neutrality on the Test Stand
The following essay will show that dealing with the Hungarian refugees unmasks the popular stereotypes of the response to the uprising of 1956 as a myth of Austrian national scholarship. There was neither the unrestricted willingness of Austrians nor the boundless gratitude of the Hungarian refugees.

Protonic ceramic fuel cells offer a promising route to generate power efficiently but face critical challenges in achieving industrially viable activity and stability at their cathodes in CO2‐containing air. This report proposes a new cathode material design strategy to enable the cathode to be both catalytically active and CO2 tolerant through the ...

The production and development of H7 Influenza virus pseudotypes for the study of humoral responses against avian viruses [PDF]
In recent years, high pathogenicity avian influenza (HPAI) virus, H5N1, low pathogenicity avian influenza (LPAI) virus, H9N2, and both HPAI and LPAI H7 viruses have proved devastating for the affected economies reliant on poultry industry, and have posed
