Europium–Hydrogen Bond Distances in Saline Metal Hydrides by Neutron Diffraction
Europium–hydrogen bond distances in saline metal hydrides have been refined from neutron powder diffraction data on the magnesium-based ternary deuterides EuMg2D6, EuMgD4, EU2MgD6, EU6Mg7D26 and EU2Mg3D10.

High‐entropy perovskite oxides enable tunable structures and properties through multi‐cation disorder and entropy stabilization. This review summarizes advances in synthesis, structural and defect engineering, and their applications in OER/ORR, CO2RR, and electrochemical energy storage, highlighting in situ characterization and modeling that clarify ...

Kinetic Contribution to the Arbitrary Order Odd Frequency Moments of the Dynamic Structure Factor
ABSTRACT An exact expression is derived for the kinetic contribution to the odd (arbitrary order) frequency moments of the dynamic structure factor via a finite summation that features averages of even (all lower orders) powers of the momentum over the exact momentum distribution.

Neutron scattering studies of materials near the magnetic phase transition [PDF]
Metals on the verge or just in the weakly magnetic state offer a unique testing ground for current theories of itinerant magnetism. Three investigations of such systems using neutron scattering are outlined in this work. TiBe(_2) is of interest since the

Surface hydration‐induced damage in tight oil‐bearing sandy conglomerate reservoirs
A series of techniques such as X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive spectroscopy, conductivity tests, and infrared thermal imaging were used. The key findings are the identification of a two‐stage surface hydration process and the elucidation of the effects of various minerals and elements on the hydration process ...
