Dynamic Covalent Networks of Molecular Clusters for Hard and Impact‐Resistant Glass with Feasible Processability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Molecular granular material glass is fabricated by crosslinking sub‐nm POSS clusters with dynamic borate ester bonding while the materials combine high transparency, modulus, and hardness with superior impact resistance and (re)processability, offering a promising strategy for creating robust yet highly processable organic glasses.

Annealing‐Induced Plasticity and Strengthening in Metallic Glasses

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work challenges the dogma that annealing inevitably embrittles metallic glasses. We demonstrate that sub‐Tg annealing, guided by positive mixing enthalpy and constrained kinetics, can drive a self‐organized compositional fluctuation that creates an interface‐free heterogeneous structure.

Exploring the links between Large Igneous Provinces and dramatic environmental impact

An emerging consensus suggests that Large Igneous Provinces (LIPs) and Silicic LIPs (SLIPs) are a significant driver of dramatic global environmental and biological changes, including mass extinctions.

Investigation of Linear Current in SiC Radiation Detector

open access: yesYuanzineng kexue jishu, 2022
Diagnosis of pulsed neutron emitted by nuclear fission is one of key methods to study nuclear reaction mechanism. It is not easy to get accurate neutron parameters for the intense radiation background, composited of scatter neutron, gamma ray, etc ...

Pressure‐Induced Structural and Magnetic Evolution in Layered Antiferromagnet YbMn2Sb2

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Pressure tunes the delicate balance between structure, magnetism, and electronic states in quantum materials. In YbMn2Sb2, high‐pressure X‐ray and neutron diffraction reveal a trigonal‐to‐monoclinic transition near 3.5 GPa, accompanied by unconventional magnetic ordering.

Radiative corrections to the neutron star mass inferred from QPO frequencies

open access: yes, 2011
The frequencies of kHz QPOs are widely interpreted as being indicative of the values of characteristic frequencies related to orbital motion around neutron stars, e.g., the radial epicyclic frequency. In regions directly exposed to the radiation from the
