Investigation of Linear Current in SiC Radiation Detector

open access: yesYuanzineng kexue jishu, 2022
Diagnosis of pulsed neutron emitted by nuclear fission is one of key methods to study nuclear reaction mechanism. It is not easy to get accurate neutron parameters for the intense radiation background, composited of scatter neutron, gamma ray, etc ...

Condensed Surfaces of Magnetic Neutron Stars, Thermal Surface Emission, and Particle Acceleration Above Pulsar Polar Caps

open access: yes, 2008
For sufficiently strong magnetic fields and/or low temperatures, the neutron star surface may be in a condensed state with little gas or plasma above it. Such surface condensation can significantly affect the thermal emission from isolated neutron stars,

Development of High Intensity D-T fusion NEutron Generator (HINEG)

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
A high intensity D-T fusion neutron generator (HINEG) is keenly needed for the research and development (R&D) of nuclear technology and safety of the advanced nuclear energy system, especially for the radiation protection and shielding.

Embrittlement of Molybdenum by Neutron Radiation

open access: yesJOM, 1955
Commercially pure molybdenum specimens were irradiated in the Materials Testing Reactor for an estimated exposure of 1.9 to 5.9×1020 thermal nvt. Prior to irradiation, the material was ductile in the tension test; whereas after irradiation, it was brittle.

Heterogeneous Single/Dual‐Atom Electrocatalysts in Lithium–Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This review summarizes recent advances in single‐atom and dual‐atom electrocatalysts for high‐performance lithium–sulfur batteries. The text systematically covers the classification of catalysts by active metal centers, key synthesis methods, in situ characterization for mechanistic insights, and electrocatalytic mechanisms.

Hydride Nitrides: Crystal Structure Redetermination of LiSr2H2N and the Isostructural LiBa2H2N

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, EarlyView.
The quaternary hydride nitrides LiSr2H2N and LiBa2H2N are obtained in a non‐centrosymmetric crystal structure, different from previous reports. Crystal growth of the honey‐ and pale‐yellow compounds and essentially single phase synthesis is successful using alkali metal flux. The resulting fully ordered structures do not account for a structural reason
