A neutrophil‐mediated dual‐targeting liposome (NKN‐LNP) is developed to treat renal ischemia–reperfusion injury. The system enables spatiotemporally controlled delivery of NMN to injured tubules via MMP‐2/9 activation and KIM1 recognition, restoring mitochondrial function through NAD+‐SIRT3 signaling and preventing the transition from acute kidney ...

Hepatocyte BDNF Acts as a Novel Immune Checkpoint to Restrain TLR4‐Mediated Acute Hepatitis
This study identifies hepatocyte‐derived BDNF as an endogenous TLR4 antagonist that alleviates acute hepatitis. BDNF is downregulated in hepatocytes via REST‐mediated transcriptional repression during ALI/ALF. Mechanistically, BDNF binds to TLR4 on macrophages to suppress inflammation.

Subcutaneous Neutrophilic Infiltrates in Acute Febrile Neutrophilic Dermatosis
Archives of Dermatology, 1983• A patient had an evolving hematologic disorder, accompanied by tender, red, subcutaneous nodules. Histologically, there were dense neutrophilic infiltrates confined to the subcutaneous adipose tissue. Three months later, a typical episode of acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis (ND) developed in the patient, and she was found to have acute myeloid ...

Neutrophil infiltration into human gliomas
Acta Neuropathologica, 1999Human gliomas were analysed for the infiltration of neutrophils using immunohistochemistry by staining sections for CD15-positive and myeloperoxidase-positive cells. Over 70% of all glioma samples analysed (n = 105) had significant neutrophil infiltration, but there was a marked and significant correlation between tumour grade and the extent of the ...
