This study aims to determine the equation of motion of the object that surrounds the center of mass. The method used is constructing geodesic equation in the Schwarzschild solution contained in Einstein's gravitational field equations, and then ...

Optimal Designs and Inspection Time Decisions for Gamma Accelerated Degradation Tests
ABSTRACT This study analytically derives optimal designs for gamma accelerated degradation tests while incorporating inspection time as a design variable under both D‐ and V‐optimality criteria. Under D‐optimality, we prove that the optimal design allocates test units exclusively to the lowest and highest stress levels and adopts the longest inspection

Newton's interpolation formula and sums of powers
Abstract In this manuscript, we derive closed formulas for multifold sums of powers of integers by combining the forward Newton interpolation formula with hockey-stick identities for binomial coefficients. We further obtain representations of multifold sums of powers in terms of Stirling numbers of the second kind and Eulerian numbers.

Annual survival is a key demographic parameter driving population trends in wildlife populations. However, despite numerous species‐specific or regional studies, global reviews of the factors affecting the survival of declining taxa remain scarce. Here, we investigated annual survival of fledged immature and adult shorebirds, a globally‐distributed and

Development of Volume Estimating System for Cupressus lusitanica Plantation on Jebel Marra, Sudan
Page(s):12 (2), 235-248, 24 Ref.For log volume computation and tree volume equations construction, 187 trees from Cupressus lusitanica plantation were randomly selected, covering the range of diameter at breast height classes (dbh) from 7.0 cm to 38.0 cm.

Capacity and limitations of US wild meat donation programmes
Abstract Historically, sharing of wild harvests to facilitate food security followed concepts of kin selection and reciprocal altruism. However, cultural shifts have reduced access to foods for some populations in modern times. Cultural altruism through sustainably harvested wild meat donation programmes (WDPs) can reduce food and nutritional ...

Hydrolytic aging in seawater produces markedly different mechanical responses among commercial Aramid fibers. While some fibers exhibit progressive degradation, others maintain stable or even improved tensile behavior. Experimental yarn‐scale testing combined with mathematical degradation modeling and Arrhenius‐based lifetime prediction provides new ...

Stop Using Limiting Stimuli as a Measure of Sensitivities of Energetic Materials
ABSTRACT Accurately estimating the sensitivity of explosive materials is a potentially life‐saving task that requires standardised protocols across nations. One of the most widely applied procedures worldwide is the so‐called ‘1‐In‐6’ test from the United Nations (UN) Manual of Tests in Criteria, which estimates a ‘limiting stimulus’ for a material. In
