Unique Phenomena in Different Viscosity Mixing and Suitable Operating Methods
Flow visualization was used to clarify the mixing behavior of high‐ and low‐viscosity fluids in stirred vessels. Large impellers enabled relatively easy mixing, whereas certain impellers generated unusual flow patterns under zero‐gap interfacial conditions.

Point-particle limit in a scalar theory of gravitation and the weak equivalence principle
A scalar theory with a preferred reference frame is summarized. To test that theory in celestial mechanics, an "asymptotic" post-Newtonian (PN) scheme has been developed.

A Constructive Model of Newtonian Gravitation
The paper explores whether Newtonian gravitation is mediated by force fields, and, if so, whether it can explain known gravitational phenomena. In conformity with the historical and conventional practice, the paper presents a physical model in which gravit...

ABSTRACT Damage to non‐structural elements significantly impacts the seismic performance of buildings in terms of economic and functionality losses. Consequently, performance‐based seismic design of non‐structural elements has become a key pillar of a comprehensive building‐seismic resilience strategy, for instance, through loss‐targeted earthquake ...

Late-time Evolution of Magnetized Disks in Tidal Disruption Events
In classic time-dependent 1D accretion-disk models, the inner radiation-pressure-dominated regime is viscously unstable. However, late-time observations of accretion disks formed in tidal disruption events (TDEs) do not exhibit evidence of such ...

Abstract Background Efficient dewatering is a critical step in cassava starch production because the moisture content of the concentrated slurry directly affects downstream drying costs and overall process efficiency. Conventional concentration routes, including sedimentation and centrifugation, often provide limited cake dryness and can increase ...

The crusts of neutron stars revisited: approximations within a polytropic equation of state approach
In this work, we revisit several thin-crust approximations presented in the literature and compare them with the exact solutions of the Tolman–Oppenheimer–Volkoff (TOV) equations.

The Galactic Pizza: Flat Rotation Curves in the Context of Cosmological Time-Energy Coupling
The phenomenon of augmented gravity on the scale of galaxies, conventionally attributed to dark matter halos, is shown to possibly result from the incremental growth of galactic masses and radii over time.
