Insulin Receptor Isoform Pattern in Aged Normal and Alzheimer's Human Cortex

open access: yesJournal of Neurochemistry, Volume 170, Issue 5, May 2026.
In this study we asked (A) which antibodies accurately detect insulin receptors in human brain? Our data demonstrate that the three antibodies we have characterised work well but there is a hierarchy with 250 724 working well, PA5‐27334 working better and NBP‐12793 working best.
