Azidotetrakis(trimethylphosphine)nickel(II) Tetrafluoroborate
The title complex, [Ni(N3)(C3H9P)4]BF4, is a nearly perfect trigonal bipyramid with the azide group at an apical position. The metal-azide bond angle, Ni1--N1--N2, of 138.6(5) degrees is the largest observed for a terminal azide ligand.

Formation and Electrochemical Properties of Nickel and Cobalt Transition Metals Oxide Films
Films of cobalt oxide and nickel oxide on monocrystalline silicon substrates were obtained by electrochemical deposition from aqueous electrolyte solutions. Their structure and composition were studied by Raman microscopy and scanning electron microscopy.

Reversible H_2 Addition across a Nickel−Borane Unit as a Promising Strategy for Catalysis [PDF]
We report the synthesis and characterization of a series of nickel complexes of the chelating diphosphine-borane ligands ArB(o-Ph_2PC_6H_4)_2 ([^(Ar)DPB^(Ph)]; Ar = Ph, Mes).

Electrochemical codeposition of nickel oxide and polyaniline [PDF]
Nickel oxide (NiOx) and polyaniline (PAni) were electrocodeposited from NiSO4 and aniline through cyclic voltammetric scans to afford PAni–NiOx composite film at controlled pH environment.

Nebular spectroscopy of SN 2014J: Detection of stable nickel in near infrared spectra
We present near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy of the nearby supernova 2014J obtained $\sim$450 d after explosion. We detect the [Ni II] 1.939 $\mu$m line in the spectra indicating the presence of stable $^{58}$Ni in the ejecta.

Tris(2,2′-bipyridine)nickel(II) hexamolybdate [PDF]
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Ni(C(10)H(8)N(2))(3)][Mo(6)O(19)], consists of one complex [(Ni(C(10)H(8)N(2))(3)](2+) cation and one Lindqvist-type [Mo(6)O(19)](2-) polyanion. The Ni(2+) ion is in a distorted octa-hedral coordination by six N atoms from three chelating 2,2'-bipyridine ligands.

An electrochemical investigation of the formation of CoSx and its effect on the anodic dissolution of iron in ammoniacal-carbonate solutions [PDF]
It has been found that the co-presence of cobalt (II) and thiosulphate ions in ammoniacal-carbonate solutions promotes the passivation of iron, under conditions in which it would otherwise continue to dissolve anodically. Electrochemical experiments have
